What is conscious hydration?
Conscious hydration is the act of paying attention to the fact that you’re drinking water. When you drink, you need to have conscious awareness so your mind sends a trigger to the cells to open and receive. So when you drink, recognize that you are drinking and realize that water is going thru to all cells in the body. As a result, all the cells fully open to the water. This occurs via the brain sending signals to the cells and the cells receiving.
The brain would have a natural, autonomic response to hydrating the body, but if you consciously do it with intention, the effects are amplified.
This is useful for people like my human mother who drinks a lot of pure water, but always seems to feel thirsty.

Wonderful post Isa. I think this is an excellent exercise to also promote being in the moment, no matter what task you are doing. Thanks Isa.
