The analogy of a king is that one person has all the power and therefore that person gets to decide on everything. It’s ok for me to be king, a king-like persona, but we shouldn’t run countries ruling or dictating in that way.
As a society, we should all decide jointly because when you have a ruling king, it’s sending a message that “you’re not as good”. We are all equal and we all have a say so we should all be able to put our vote in to make a choice. It’s not fair to feel that one person, because of their birthright, should have the right to make decisions. There’s always someone with better insight and every situation is different. In one situation, one person might have a better answer but in another situation it would be a different person. Individually, we don’t have unlimited knowledge about everything. If we all lived in smaller groups, it would be much easier to implement things in such a manner.
On the other hand, it’s also not fair to put so much stress and onus on one being to manage so many people. That person can’t possibly have all the answers. They can’t possibly make the right choices all the time because they’re incapable of doing so.
It’s basic logic so why don’t people get that?
I loved this post Isa!! It spoke to my heart about the change required in this world to embrace equality. We all have something to offer, regardless of social circumstances, race, religion, gender and finances. I believe changes will take place to create solidarity and social justice across the globe. As always, thanks for sharing your thoughts Isa. I love you and your Earth parents! xoxo
