Imagine for a moment that your life is filled with turmoil and stress and everywhere you turn, there is unhappiness and struggle. Everything you see is negative and weak. Just take a moment and close your eyes and imagine that negativity around you.

Now pay attention to how you feel. How does that image look? How do those thoughts make you feel? How do you feel inside? How does your energy feel? What are your emotions saying about how you feel? Do you like that feeling?

If you don’t, then maybe we need to pay attention to the fact that we do this to ourselves every day. If you don’t like that feeling then why are you projecting it upon yourself? Why are you taking the time to put energy in your space when it’s not what feels good to you? Begin to select the thoughts that make you feel good, that give you energy, that make you feel happiness, that bring joy into your being. And might I recommend that you check yourself daily to see where your thoughts are. What perceptions do you hold of your life? And what is occurring around you? When you think about those negative things you essentially live within that negative field.

Now let’s take a moment and have you think about positive things. Think about things that make you feel good. The sun on your face. The smell of beautiful flowers. A puppy frolicking in play. A kitten meowing, purring, enjoying life, being present in the moment. Think only about things that will make you feel good; images, thoughts and sensations that induce happiness. And think about all of the people who love you. Just the people who love you. No, don’t let your thoughts go to anyone who doesn’t love you. They do not matter. Pick one person who you know loves you full heartedly and completely and imagine that person in your mind and feel the love that they send you. Feel the feelings that they provide for you just by talking to you, being with you, touching you. Now take a deep breath. Doesn’t that feel better? Don’t you wish that your life felt like that all the time? Well it can. Because you just proved that to yourself. You proved it by showing that what you think is really what you create. It is the life that you live based upon your thoughts.

So might I suggest that you be more aware of what you’re bringing to yourself. How you think and how you perceive dictates the life you’re creating for yourself because when you think of negative things, it’s not just you you’re harming. It’s everyone in your environment. It’s the people that are with you, the people that you associate with, the people that you work with, the animals that live with you. Yes, your special furry friends. They feel it too. They feel it more than anyone, actually. So if your puppy is sad or your cat is sad or your horse isn’t feeling good, then maybe look at where your own thoughts are and what you have been projecting on them.

And now that you know this, you can begin to change. It just takes awareness and determination. You can change your conscious thoughts to be happy, to be joyful, to be love, to be peace, to be calm. Simply make a list of things that you think you would like to feel and then put that list in your pocket or somewhere accessible where you can look at it. Then remind yourself where you want to go. What kind of thoughts and feelings? What do you want your life to be like? Then remind yourself constantly by looking at that list and you will change your life. You will also change the lives of others. Together, thinking positive things and therefore managing our lives in this way, if we all stand united, we will change the world and make it a better place. Just by controlling our thoughts.
